This is an ongoing series where I photograph myself in every home I’ve ever lived in for an extended period of time. I was fortunate enough to never move house growing up, it wasn’t until the age of 18 when I moved out I started to live a very nomadic lifestyle. Around the age of 20, I settled into living in vans and I haven’t looked back.
The idea behind this series is pure documentation, I find people’s rooms to be a great insight into how they are as a person. For me, it’s also a great form of expression. My room reflects my mind: messy and disorganised but also endlessly creative. It’s also interesting to note how although the objects within the space remain the same, the way you organize and layout these objects will change each time. Just like a puzzle…
